I love giving thoughtful and unique gifts and Social Spot is my go-to for birthdays, teacher gifts, and "just because." Every time I go in there is something new and beautiful to find. I've purchased locally made jewellery both rings and essential oil bracelets, gorgeous resin coasters, decor items and I love the variety of local vendors available. What I love the most about this shop is the moment you walk in the door you’re welcomed by the friendly staff. There is truly something for everyone here. We love shopping here but we also are fortunate to be a vendor as well. What we see through and through is quality local products. Kailey & her team consistently put shopping local as the forefront of the business looking out for both the vendors & the customers. Highly recommend!

The Social Spot is always such a highlight while shopping on Mainstreet in Cochrane. This was my first visit to the shop, and I found it delightful. It's a cozy, inviting space that offers a nice variety of quality items. The clerk was very welcoming. She knew so much about each artisan and her stories gave a little extra meaning to each of the pieces. I'll certainly be returning because this place is a winner!

A hidden gem! I brought my 101-year-old mother in to look for clip-on earrings—a rare find these days—and we were so delighted by the experience. Janine treated my mom like gold and was incredibly kind and helpful every step of the way. It’s such a joy to support a local business that not only offers exceptional service but also has a wonderful and diverse selection of unique gift ideas. We’ll definitely be popping in often!

I love this place. I like to shop here for special gifts for Mother’s Day, birthdays etc. Obviously the goods can be slightly more expensing than big box stores, but especially these days, I am trying to support local and buy quality goods. Love the new location!
